Fire damages Roanoke County home

ROANOKE CO., Va. (WDBJ7) Firefighters were called to a house fire in Roanoke County around 10:30 Sunday night.

First crews on the scene in the 3700 block of Tomley Drive could see flames as they arrived.

Career and volunteers from the Cave Spring, Back Creek, Clearbrook and Fort Lewis stations responded.

Damage is estimated at $75,000.

One person was home at the time. Firefighters say no one was hurt.
