LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) You may not know it, but this is Random Acts of Kindness Week.
And in Lexington, they’ve turned that thought into a freedom wall of sorts, where passersby are encouraged to take a Post-It note, write what they love about the town and stick it up.
“It’s always nice to have a little bit of extra warmth. And we thought it would be cool to just do some guerrilla art and let our community members speak," says Jamie Goodin of Main Street Lexington. "It’s really fun whenever you let self-expression happen, and whatever happens happens. And this would be a great example of just sharing positive thoughts.”
They planned to just have it up for the week, but say if it continues to be popular it could stay on.
