Lexington gains a new landmark

LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) There’s a new landmark in Lexington

City public works put up a new clock on South Main Street. It was the gift of local businessman Tom Bradshaw.

“I just thought about it," he says. "And I’ve reached retirement age – I’m 78 – so I said: well, it’s time I started getting rid of some of this property around here and I’ve gotten rid of it. So I decided some of it ought to go back to the city. The city’s been awful good to me.”

Bradshaw says this may not be all; he’s looking at a couple other “little projects.”
