UPDATE: Arrest made in Lynchburg convenience store robbery from Thursday night

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)- On Friday the Lynchburg Police Depatment arrested 19-year-old Demondre Oshea Sales.

He's been charged with robbery.

Sales is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.

Lynchburg Police are investigating an armed robbery at the 1600 Block of Park Avenue.

The incident happened at the T-Market #2 around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, someone entered the store and demanded cash.
