Lynchburg man wanted for drug possession and falsely identifying to police

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) The Lynchburg Police Department is looking for a man wanted for drug possession and falsely identifying himself to police.

Joshua Daniel Murphy, 34, is wanted for multiple charges in Lynchburg and Campbell County, including a firearm by felon charge.

Police say Murphy is known to use and/or transport methamphetamine and should be considered armed.

He is described as 6'7", 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say although the picture shows Murphy without a lot facial hair, he was last seen with a full beard.
