Lynchburg police investigating a malicious wounding incident

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)— Lynchburg police are investigating after they say a man was assaulted.

At around 5:55 a.m. Friday, Lynchburg police responded to the 2000 block of Pansy Street where they found an unconscious man inside a single-family home. The man was taken to the Lynchburg General Hospital where he is currently being treated for the injuries he received during the alleged assault.

After investigating, police arrested 24-year-old Lynchburg resident, Tershaud S. Rose, for Malicious Wounding.
