Lynchburg police looking for man who broke into El Camino restaurant

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)— The Lynchburg Police Department is looking for a man who they say broke into the El Camino restaurant in Lynchburg Monday morning.

Police said they responded to 6201 Fort Avenue after receiving a report of breaking and entering. According to Lynchburg police, a man walked onto the property of El Camino, tried to open a locked door, then broke out a side window and gained entry to the business at 1:20 a.m.

The man left the business shortly after entering and ran away toward Fort Avenue, police said.

Police describe the man as white, with dark hair and a goatee. The man was wearing a hoodie, dark pants, and a backpack.
