Lynchburg police search for woman who stole $445 of meat

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Lynchburg police are searching for a woman who stole over $400 of meat from a Kroger.

The thefts happened January 10, January 26 and February 20 at the Kroger on Timberlake Road.

Police say the woman stole meat, including lobster tail, steak and shrimp worth a combined value of $445.49.

On February 20, the woman arrived at Kroger in a small red, two-door, pickup truck with a metal tool box and left on foot.

The woman in the surveillance footage appears to be the same suspect from each of the three reported incidents.

Police believe the woman is 22-year-old Briana Tatiana Jones, who is from Lynchburg. Her mugshot photo is from 2014, but police say it closely resembles her current appearance. A warrant is out for her arrest.
