Lynchburg residents robbed at knifepoint in their home

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Victims told Lynchburg police that they were asleep in their home when they were robbed at knifepoint.

Police responded to the call at a home on the 900 block of Perrymont Ave. at 1:37 a.m. on Thursday.

The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash before driving away.

No one was hurt.

Police say this was an isolated event and was not a random act. Using descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle, police arrested two men shortly thereafter.

Quincy Scott Hairston, 33, and Trevor Lamont Calloway, 24, are charged with burglary and robbery. They both live in Lynchburg.
