ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) - Magic City Ford surprised a Roanoke man with an early Christmas present this afternoon.
A well-known bicyclist to the Williamson Road community named Carl Glass was given a bike that looks like a Harley motorcycle.
He rides his bike by the dealership a lot and one of the employees noticed how raggedy his old bike was.
"I noticed Carl recently riding a bike that was in really rough shape in a Christmas parade and thought it would be great if he had a new 'Harley style' bike, I shared the story with Lincoln and the wish was granted," the employee said.
The employee submitted Carl's story to Lincoln Motor Company's "grant my wish program" who donated the Harley style bike and riding boots.
"Actually I have one of these at home but the just breaks went out on it. I was going to look for a replacement," said Glass.
"But lo and behold I guess I got my prayers answered and I ended up with this one. My Christmas prayer was answered when this one came along."
Carl was one of a handful of winning entries selected across the country for Lincoln's "Grant my Wish" program.
