Martinsville-Henry County SPCA leaders say they got a call from animal control about a woman who had 25 cats. The SPCA says the woman started with three cats but things just got out of hand.

"And to have no one come out needing emergency veterinary medicine was amazing. On the other hand I'm a little sad because we do so much as humane workers to spread spay and neuter education," SPCA Executive Director Nicole Harris said.

Harris is reminding folks that the SPCA is here to help you afford having your pets fixed.

All of the cats are healthy are ready for adoption. The SPCA is full and are looking for not only adoptions, but donations.
