Martinsville SPCA to deliver puppy-grams for Valentine's Day

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) We've all heard of sending flowers and candy for Valentine's Day, but what about a cuddle session with a puppy?

The Martinsville/Henry County SPCA is offering puppy-grams this year.

The SPCA will take a puppy, or kitten, to the recipient's work or home and let them cuddle for ten minutes.

They'll also get a card, carnation, and chocolate bar.

"We knew we wanted to do something around the Valentine's Day season. We wanted to be a little bit more unique. A lot of people send flowers, and things like that, so everybody wants to cuddle a puppy, so it's a good thing to send out," says SPCA Office Manager, Hunter Jennings.

To schedule your puppy-gram you can just call the shelter. The number is 276-638-7297.
