MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) Martinsville is set to hold its annual Oktoberfest this Saturday.

This is the 38th year for the event. Uptown Martinsville is lined with vendors.

Organizers say they expect about 240 different booths.

There will also be kids activities, a band and two different beer gardens.

"I think it's a great way to get the community together. It's for any and everyone in the community from birth to 90. It's just a way to get everybody together. There's something for everyone," says Martinsville Uptown Executive Director, Liz Secrest.

The festival goes from 11:00 to 4:00 on Saturday. Admission to the festival is free.
