All four defendants in Kevin Quick murder case receive life sentences

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (NEWSPLEX) All four of the people convicted for the death of a Waynesboro Police Department reservist will spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Daniel Mathis has been sentenced to life plus 132 years for the abduction and murder of Kevin Quick.

Shantai Shelton and Mersadies Shelton have both been sentenced to life in prison, plus 82 years.

Mersadies is also known by the name Maisha Uhuru.

Kweli Uhuru has been sentenced to life in prison plus ten years.

All four were found guilty by a jury in February for a string of armed robberies that ended when the four abducted and killed Quick.
