BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) A property that was once home to Blacksburg High School will now go into the hands of a private developer.

In a narrow vote of 4-3, supervisors decided Monday to sell the former Blacksburg High School property to HS Development. The limited liability corporation is connected to the Shelor Motor Mile in Christiansburg.

Developers will pay Montgomery County $3 million for the Blacksburg property. Payments will be made in installments over the next three years.
