More than a dozen roads closed in Wythe County due to flooding

WYTHE COUNTY, Va (WDBJ7) There are more than a dozen roads closed in Wythe County due to flooding on Monday.

Here is a list of all the roadways being impacted at this time:

Apperson Drive has been closed by VDOT. That road is right along Cripple Creek.

Wythe County officials say Castleton Road, south of Moyer Lane, has standing water in the roadway.

Collins Cove and Holly Lane are both impassable at this time.

Huffard Lane is currently closed..

Authorities say Little Reed Island Road is impassable at the 600 block and beyond.

Max Meadows Road is currently closed in the area near the recycling center.

Moyer Lane is impassable right now due to high water.

Mulehell is also closed. That road runs right along Slate Spring Branch.

New Bethel Road is also closed.

Painters Hill Road is experiencing high water.

Peridot Lane is also being impacted.

Pope Road, just before Collins Cove Road, is closed.

Ramsey Mountain Road has been closed by VDOT.

Authorities say River Bluff is impassable right now due to high water.

Riverview Road is also experiencing high water.

Shady River Drive is impassable due to high water.
