Mother of Waffle House shooting survivor buys wedding dress for life-saving waitress

NASHVILLE, TN (WDBJ7) -- A mom of one of the survivors of the Waffle House shooting is giving back to the waitress that saved her son's life.

Michael Garth Sr. says on that tragic morning before suspected shooter Travis Reinking opened fire, their waitress, who was washing dishes, didn't want to splash water on the two men and suggested they move to another table.

Garth believes that she saved their lives.

Afterwards, his mother helped track the waitress down, found out she was getting married and bought her a wedding dress.
