LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) Seven display panels are now up in Lexington’s Jordan's Point.

They explain the history of the area and highlight some key areas with significant historic importance to Lexington and Rockbridge County. The panels tell the story of the forges, foundries, grist mills, lumber mills, cooperage shop and machine works that once operated there. The exhibits also highlight the early batteaux and the canal system.
