Northside at Lord Botetourt

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. In Daleville, Lord Botetourt and Northside hooked up in the first of two meetings they'll have this year.

The boys from Botetourt were ready to put on a show in front of a capacity crowd of Cavaliers.

But they ran into some struggles early. A low snap that Evan Eller was able to recover and scrape out a few yards.

A few plays later, Northside's Ethan Blank and Zach Horton stuffed Hunter Rice for a short loss.

That lit a fire under the Cavaliers who started to carry the mail from that point on. Eller called his own number and took it within a frog's hair of the endzone.

Rice would punch it in on the next play to give Botetourt a 7-0 lead.

There was an ensuing possession for the Vikings. Jalen Jackson looked for Princton Hall but it slipped through his hands and right into Dylan Crawford's bread basket. He took it 60 yards to the house!

Lord Botetourt's dominance would continue as they blanked Northside 34-0.
