CHRISTIANSBURG., Va. (WDBJ7) Patrick Henry made the trip to Christiansburg where the Blue Demons leaky defense had given up 162 points in three games.

Patrick Henry jumped out to a 45-0 lead at halftime.

Things wouldn't get better for Christiansburg as on the opening kickoff of the second half Charles Nwaihesie fumbled and Tishawn Simpson recovered.

A few plays later Simpson finished what he started with the score.

But Christiansburg would finally get on the board. Nic Cook found Alex Perkins for the Blue Demons’ first score of the game.

But the Patriots would be too much. Brandon Smith took the ball nearly 25 yards to get the lead back.

Patrick Henry went on to the 59-7 win.
