Police find more than $200,000 of marijuana after responding to call in Christiansburg

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The Christiansburg Police Department have charged two after seizing 37 pounds of marijuana.

Police responded to the scene of the 2000 block of Simpson Road at around 7:00 a.m.

When crews arrived at the scene they found a semi-responsive male who was revived with Narcan.

He was then transported to the hospital.

Officers said that they found a large amount of marijuana while on the scene.

The Police Department said they then obtained a search warrant and found about $208,000 worth of marijuana, along with other paraphernalia.

Michael Travis Devore, 60, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and received a $1,000 secured bond.

Ciara Brooke Hungate, 18, has been charged with possession of a schedule I or II substance.

Hungate is being held without bond.
