Police in Martinsville, Danville search for mobile store burglars

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) Two separate mobile phone stores in Martinsville and Danville were burglarized Tuesday and police believe the two crimes may be connected.

The first burglary happened at the Boost Mobile store on West Main Street in Danville around 2:13 Tuesday morning.

Surveillance video shows someone breaking through a glass door. At least three people then entered the business through the shattered glass.

Police say another Boost Mobile store on East Church
Street in Martinsville was burglarized later in the day. Based on surveillance video, police believe the same group carried out both burglaries.

The people involved in both burglaries were in a white Dodge minivan, according to police.
