Police investigate break-in in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) UPDATE

The Lynchburg Police Department stated on Wednesday, August 2 that five juveniles have been charged for the burglary at the Phone Axiom on Wards Ferry Rd that occurred Thursday, July 27.

All juveniles are currently in custody.

On Thursday morning, around 8 a.m., the Lynchburg Police Department responded to a burglary call at 717 Wards Ferry Road.

When employees got to work that morning at Phone Axiom, they noticed the front glass door was shattered and electronics were missing.

Surveillance video shows that at around 3:45 a.m., a man had smashed the front glass door. Once the door was open, four people entered the business and stole multiple electronics before fleeing.

This investigation is ongoing.
