RECALL: 30,000 pairs of Target kids jeans recalled due to skin cuts

By  |

About 30,000 pairs of kids jeans sold at Target have been recalled due to reports of skin cuts.

The recall involved Cat & Jack Girls' Star Studded Skinny Jeans. The jeans were sold in sizes 4 to 18P and have metal stars on the front bottom part of the legs. “Cat & Jack” and the words “Super Skinny” are printed on the inside waistband of the jeans. The hangtag attached to the jeans has one of the numbers, 205-03-1377 to 205-03-1392 at the top of the tag.

The jeans have been sold exclusively at Target stores across the country and online from September 2017 through November 2017 for around $18.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission became aware of six reports of metal stars detaching from the jeans, including five reports of lacerations.

Officials advised anyone with the jeans to stop wearing them and return them to Target for a full refund using recall no. 18-117.
