Radford Police investigating two animal cases

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7) Three kittens were found in a trash bag by public works employees Thursday morning in Radford according to the Radford City Police Department.

The bag was found in trash cans in the 1600 block of West Main Street. One kitten was alive and the other two were dead.

The dead kittens are believed to have possibly been drowned. The surviving kitten was brought to a local veterinary.

The surviving tabby kitten has a unique mark on its back. One dead kitten was an orange male and the other was a black male.

Investigators are also searching for information about a white car that has abandoned cats and kittens inside. It has parked in Riverview Park in the west end of Radford on numerous investigation.
