Radford police: Speed, alcohol likely factors in crash that seriously hurt three

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7) Radford police believe alcohol and speed were factors in a crash that sent three men to the hospital early Friday morning.

A pickup truck ran off the side of Tyler Ave. just after 2 a.m. and hit a tree.

Three men were taken to the New River Valley Medical Center. Two of them were then transferred to Roanoke Carilion Memorial Hospital.

The driver, Robert Delacruz, 36, is in critical condition. Jesus Alvarez, 23, is in critical condition. Louis Chovez, 23, was treated for serious injuries.
