UPDATE: Radford police arrest person of interest in vehicle theft, break-ins

UPDATE:

A man who broke into two cars and stole one was arrested Thursday, according to Radford Police.

John Kaye, 21, of Reston has been charged with three counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with intent to sell. He is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail on a $15,000 secured bond.

Kaye was the person of interest in two car break-ins where firearms were stolen and a car was stolen. The property crimes happened in the 1000 block of Clement Street in Radford early Tuesday morning. The stolen firearms and vehicle have been recovered.

The incident is under investigation.

Radford police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who is a person of interest in a stolen vehicle case in addition to two vehicle break-ins.

Guns were stolen in both vehicle break-ins, which both happened early Tuesday morning. A vehicle was stolen in that time frame as well.
