Rail Yard Dawgs' Gjurich named SPHL Player of the Week

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs have the SPHL's Player of the Week in Tyler Gjurich.

The winger scored four goals and had two assists in three games last week to garner his second honor this season and helping the Dawgs grab four of a possible six points.

His 10 goals are good for 5th in the league. Gjurich played the 2015-16 season for the Federal Hockey League with the Danbury Titans and was named league MVP after scoring 50 goals and 50 assists in 49 games.

The Dawgs are back on the home ice Friday night and Saturday night.
