Update: Roanoke police make arrests in Saturday's armed robbery

Roanoke City police confirm they have made arrests connected to Saturday evening's armed robbery.

A spokesperson for the department could not confirm when or where they made the arrests.

Roanoke City police are searching for two people they believe robbed a convenience store in Roanoke Saturday evening.

A spokesperson for the police department said they got a call around 6:30 p.m. about a robbery at the Monterey Market at 4302 Old Mountain Road NE.

Police say two armed men entered the store, took money and ran.

No one reported injuries. Police do not have anyone in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
