UPDATE: Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department contain brush fire

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7) -- UPDATE

According to Roanoke County Police, the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department has completely contained the brush fire on Bradshaw Road.

Traffic lanes are completely open.

UPDATE

Roanoke County Fire & Rescue crews are currently on the scene of a forest fire in the Masons Cove area of the County. The call was dispatched at about 2:30 p.m.

According to Jennifer Sexton, of the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department, nine acres have burned around the area and is about 70% contained at this time. No homes or structures are threatened at this time.

According to Roanoke County Police, the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department is working a brush fire off of Bradshaw Road.

According to Police, Bradshaw Road is down to one lane in the 2900 and 3000 block. Police say traffic is limited to residents only on Forest Acre Trail at this time.
