ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) Roanoke's Odd Fellows gathered in a warm, open room Tuesday night ready to hand over a massive donation for area kids.

The Mountain Dale Lodge collected $51,000 for the Addy Grace Foundation, with additional funds coming from various supporting factions.

Inspired by Addy Grace Garner, they are raising money for an all-inclusive playground in Daleville, allowing children of all abilities to have somewhere to play together. Addy Grace lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a disease in which one in 40 Americans are genetic carriers.

"We as a community love our children, and we want to make this dream come true. To feel as one. To be able to play on a playground as one, no disabilities," Addy's dad James Garner said.

Fraternity members say they will continue to raise money for the foundation over the coming years.

They are currently raffling off a $4,000 toolbox. Tickets are $10 each. For more information call Richard Huddleston at (540) 312-0748.
