ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) It's the end of an era for the Roanoke Rescue Mission.
CEO Joy Sylvester-Johnson announced three years ago would retire at the end of this year.
Johnson's parents started the mission in 1948.
On Friday, the mission announced Johnson's replacement.
Lee Clark will take over as CEO in January.
Clark was a fundraiser for the Mission and was the C-O-O of American Red Cross in Virginia.
