Roanoke fire crews on scene of a structure fire

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Two adults and two dogs have been displaced after a home caught fire in Roanoke Saturday evening. According to Roanoke City fire crews, the fire began around 7:10 p.m.

They say the fire started in the basement and spread to the upper floor. No one was home at the time of the fire. The fire is still under investigation.

Roanoke fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire in Roanoke.

According to Roanoke County's E-911 Twitter, the fire happened near the 3700 block of Springvale Street.
