ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) Roanoke firefighters say they're investigating what caused a house fire late Wednesday night.
Fire officials got a call around 10:45 about smoke coming from a home on the 3400 block of Shenandoah Avenue.
No one's living in the house, because it's under renovation.

The damage is estimated around $45,000.
The fire was under control shortly after midnight.
