LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) They'll be talking history on the streets of Lexington Saturday.
The Rockbridge Historical Society will be leading a walking tour of the "Righteous and Rascals of Rockbridge." The tour will focus on street pavers that share stories of significant local figures in African-American history from the 18th to 20th Centuries.
"So to share stories that are both historical, and yet some of them are still connected to living memory, that's a real meaningful part of what we try to do at the historical society," Rockbridge Historical Society Executive Director Eric Wilson said.
The tour begins Saturday afternoon at 4.
