Salem Police seek assistance in second armed robbery case

SALEM, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Salem Police need your help in identifying a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on Nov. 25, according to a release from the Salem Police Department.

Officers responded to the P&N Market located in the 300 block of Wildwood Road in reference to a reported armed robbery.

According to the release, the store clerk, who was uninjured, told officers that a masked man with a silver handgun entered the store and demanded money. He later left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as a slender black male, standing approximately 6 feet tall wearing a black hooded shirt and blue jeans, concealing his face with a black mask, according to the release.

Salem Police are currently investigating this crime to determine if it is related to an armed robbery that occurred on Nov. 19 on 4th Street.
