STRASBURG, Va. (WHSV) Six volunteer firefighters in Strasburg, Virginia have been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A search warrant unsealed last year showed that the firefighters were accused of gang raping a 17-year-old girl, videotaping the assault and sharing it on Snapchat.

The girl said she was drunk and felt intimidated by the firefighters and that the sex wasn't consensual.

Sgt. Les Tyler confirmed six people were charged over the weekend on the misdemeanor charge of "contributing to the delinquency of a minor," in connection with this case: Nathan S. Hirschberg, 26 of Winchester; Andrew S. Key, 24 of Strasburg; Dale R. King, 36 of Strasburg; Bradly A. Markin, 21 of Strasburg; Christopher L. Pangle, 32 of Woodstock; and Fabian J. Sosa, 25 of Woodstock.

The hearing in this case is scheduled in Shenandoah Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, which is not open to the public.

The investigation was launched last year and Strasburg Fire Chief Dale R. King told the Northern Virginia Daily in November the department was cooperating with state police.
