Missing Christiansburg teenager found safe, man arrested

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. A teenager reported missing from her home in Christiansburg and possibly endangered has been found safe in Salem, according to Christiansburg Police Major Dalton Reid.

Officers found the 14-year-old girl in an apartment complex parking lot on Chestnut Street. She was in a car with a man, Seth Koon. Koon, 24, was arrested and taken to the Roanoke County/Salem Jail on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The girl left her home in Christiansburg on Robin Hood Drive and was declared missing by Christiansburg Police and Virginia State Police Saturday afternoon.

She remains in the custody of Salem Police for now, according to Reid.
