LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Two Lynchburg teenagers are under arrest after an armed robbery.

It happened Saturday on Euclid Ave.

The victim told police she was working on her car when two men approached her.

She relayed the following account:

One of the men asked her if she needed any help, and she replied yes. He then helped her get a cap unscrewed under the hood. The other man was behind the car at this time.

The two men then started talking to each other behind the car.

The victim continued to work on the car when one of the men stuck a handgun to the side of her head and said, "Give me your purse or I am going to shoot you."

The victim’s purse and cell phone were in the passenger seat.

The victim then looked at the subject and asked him why he was doing this and the man jammed the handgun against her ribs and stated again, “Give me your purse or I am going to shoot you!”

He leaned in and stole the purse and cell phone.

Officers believe they have found the men responsible. One of them had some of the stolen items with him.
