Two Radford Adventure Club employees arrested

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7) Two childcare workers in Radford are in jail without bond after a child abuse and neglect investigation by police and social services.

The complaint is against Radford Adventure Club.

Director Kimberly Albert is charged with obstruction of justice. Charlotte Hall, who also works there, is charged with six counts of abuse and battery of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators say the allegations involve three children.

Radford, Va. - On April 28, 2016 the Radford Department of Social Services received a complaint about abuse and neglect at the Radford Adventure Club. The Radford City Police Department
and Department of Social Services conducted a joint investigation resulting in the arrest of the Director of the Radford Adventure Club, as well as an employee of the Adventure Club who
worked in the two year old classroom. Their charges are listed below.

There were three children involved and the parents of the victims have been made aware of the situation. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

Kimberly Dawn Albert, age 40 of Parrott Charges:

18.2-460 (X2) of obstruction of justice

Charlotte Darlene Hall, age 39 of Christiansburg
Charges:
18.2-57 (X6) of assault and battery of a child
18.2-371 (X6) contribute to the delinquency of a minor

Both are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail on no bond.
