Two individuals arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop in Botetourt County

DALEVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The Botetourt County Sheriff's Office has arrested two individuals on multiple charges stemming from a traffic stop in Daleville on Saturday, Dec. 9.

According to a release from the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Roanoke Road and discovered a large number of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash and a firearm.

Deputies then arrested and charged Eric Richard Henegar, 44, of Henry, Va. and Kimberly Ann Henegar, 45, of Henry, Va. with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Eric Henegar was also charged with driving with revoked, and forged or altered tags, according to the release.

Both are currently being held in the Botetourt-Craig Regional Jail.

According to the release, additional charges are expected against the two individuals.
