Hargrave at Roanoke Catholic

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) - Roanoke Catholic was looking for some home cooking Friday night against Hargrave in the Celtics first game at Vineyard Park this season.

Hargrave jumped out front though.

Quarterback Connor Rogers gets flushed out of the pocket and can't find a receiver so he tucks it in and takes a lick but scores the first touchdown of the night for a seven-nothing lead.

But here comes Catholic. Mykah English takes off up the gut and he rumbles for good yardage and a Celtics first down late in the first quarter.

Early in the second quarter, Bryant Guilfoyle gets the Celts on the board with this touchdown flip and the two point conversion gave Catholic the 8-7 lead.

The Celtics extend it here as Shawn Grande has running room. He motors 53 yards on the touchdown.

Roanoke Catholic stays unbeaten with the 44 to 14 win over Hargrave.
