DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) - Magna Vista and George Washington had split their last four meetings entering tonight, and three of those games had gone down to the final possession.

Points were hard to come by early but late in the first quarter, Carlos Poole rolls to his right and puts it up for Shawn Watlington. That's going for 53 big yards and a touchdown to make it 7-nothing GW.

Early in the second quarter, it's third and goal for the Eagles and Poole goes right, throws for the end-zone, but it goes off the fingertips of two different receivers and falls incomplete.

Webber Harris then comes on and knocks back the field goal to make it a 10-point advantage for George Washington.

Late in the half, Magna Vista's Freddie Roberts gets hit as he throws and Justin Ephrian brings it back to the end-zone but it's coming back for a block in the back.

George Washington turns it over on downs, and on the next Magna Vista possession, Ja'quil Dalton hauls in the pass, but loses the football. Kenarius Waller then takes it back 21 yards for the touchdown and it was 17-nothing Eagles. And George Washington rolled to the 45-nothing win.
