No "Off-Week" for the Cavaliers

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WCAV) The Virginia Cavaliers will face Duke this weekend at home, fresh off their bye last Saturday. While you would think, the bye week would've given the team time to rest up a bit, the 'Hoos say it was anything but an off week.

Juwan Moye/Virginia Defensive End: "Every day we were in full pads," said Virginia Defensive End, Juwan Moye. "Coach Mendenhall didn't give us a day off. He believes in, bye weeks are work weeks. They are weeks to get better. They're not a week where you take off and just enjoy yourself. That's when you get caught. Everybody else is working so you have to work."

"There was no off day," said Head Coach, Bronco Mendenhall. "There was no easy day. There was no getting ready or getting warmed back up day. It was right back to work and work and work and work. The players have embraced that. They really want success and that's evident. They've worked really hard. I haven't sensed any lulls. All early reports it looks like, say we're on track."
