William Campbell at Riverheads

STAUNTON, Va. (WDBJ7) -- To Staunton where Riverheads hosted William Campbell and it's been a solid year for Coach Danny Broggin and the Generals who came in at 9 and 2. And William Campbell had lost to Riverheads just once in 6 playoff meetings between the two schools.

The gladiators would win the toss in Goalline Territory.

They hand it to freshman Zac Smiley who is punching his way up the gut and into the endzone for the first points of the night.

Fast forward to the second. William Campbell looking to score on fourth and 11.

Josh Rosser airing it out to Junior Osorio in the endzone and this one was all tied up at 7-a-piece.

Later the quarter, the Generals recover a fumble and get the ball back.

Rosser is scrambling and looking deep again. He's got Tyler Easley for another TD and William Campbell had the lead at 14-7.

Smiley scored again for the Gladiators though. He rushed for 121 yards on the night at Riverheads scored the final 35 points and ended William Campbell's season, 42 to 14.
