Hospira announced that Royce R. Bedward has been appointed corporate vice president, general counsel and secretary. He will oversee the company¿s legal department, and serve as a member of the company's senior leadership team. Bedward, 47, joined the company at its inception, leaving a post as seior counsel at Abbott Labs. He began his career as an attorney at Jenner & Block. Bedward earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Saint Norbert College. He has a law degree from the Illinois College of Law.
