Confluence to vote on tax ordinance

Confluence Borough Council will today vote on an ordinance aimed at streamlining the way earned income taxes are collected. It enacts a 1 percent earned income tax for residents and nonresidents who are employed within the borough. The revenue is split between Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District and Confluence.
