Some good news for drivers who are hitting the road for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Mid-Atlantic says although gas prices are at their highest level ever for this time of year, prices at the pump continue to drop.
Nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.36.
In Virginia, it's $3.26.
And the Roanoke area comes in slightly lower at $3.18.
