Separating mandatory checks from those recommended
Q: I have a 2005 Honda Civic with 80,000 miles. My manual suggest replacing the oil and filter (which I have done), check the front and rear brake wear, check the tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots, inspect the suspension components, brake hoses and lines, and fuel lines, check all fluid levels and check the exhaust system for leaks. Then it says to reset the maintenance indicator. I am a senior on a fixed income so please let me know which of these is the most important.
