(WICHITA, Kan.)—
A breezy day didn't stop some Wichita fourth graders from launching rockets. It's the wrap up of a yearly program on flight and space at McLean Elementary.Students build the rockets while learning about the concepts of flight. Thursday they got to see those concepts in action. With the help of teacher's, they launched their projects high into the sky.
The students will also be going to the Kansas Cosmosphere before the end of the school year.
